Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great location and easily accessed from the street. Lift was good size and provided good access. A nice view from the front windows.
Negative: What could be a lovely apartment was let down by shoddy workmanship throughout. Not a single interior door (including the bathroom) actually closed properly for example. Finishes were rough, sound proofing was non-existent (because the windows didn’t shut properly) . Linen was poor quality and the pillows were terrible … we ended up trying to pack them out with whatever we could find. The bathroom smelt like stale urine ….caulking was mouldy and coming away from tiles … door fittings were pulling off the door itself showing screws ….really not up to standard for the price. The worst problem occurred where the property was double booked for the last night of our stay and we were forced to relocate (how can this happen on bookings.com ?) we spent half our stay negotiating a refund from the owner as we paid up front for the entire stay. The owner did come through with a cash refund on the last day but the whole experience … was painful and disruptive . To be honest, we would not stay again.
Summary: A great location with great potential …. but generally a let down
