Summary: I arrived at 10.30pm. There was no lock box containing the key. I called the service. First they said it must be there as the cleaners had come through earlier in the day. I spent a considerable amount of time convincing them the lock box was not there including photos of where it was supposed to be. I was standing looking at three lock boxes none of which was the correct one. But was asked repeatedly to look again. 50 mins later…… Finally the persons response was you will need to make your own arrangements for the night. At 11.20pm had to book an Uber to a hotel I had to arrange myself. they said we will reimburse the nights cost. I had to ask what about the inconvenience? Response, I will have to ‘escalate’ and get back to you tomorrow. I was offered 50% of one night I had to ask for reimbursement for my extra Ubers. Which they did. The next day the key was not at the hotel but at another location. Their office. I asked why am I required to go and pick up the key ? Could not someone bring it to the flat? Answer No. More Ubers and inconvenience for me. On check out I was required to again take the key back to the office. More Ubers and inconvenience. I was reimbursed 30% of one night stay for not having a flat for a full day and having to travel to pick up/drop off the key myself. The reason I was given for why the key was not there was not believable. Someone had to go to a funeral and the alternative person forgot? My reimbursement were processed.
