Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska are only 15 min away for plenty of hiking, biking and climbing opportunities. In summer months there are lots of local swimming holes and outdoor pools nearby. Leafpeeping and pick your own fruits and vegetables are fun activities – Kelder’s Farm is 8 min away. We are a short 10 min drive to Inness and beloved local brewery and restaurants Arrowood and Westwind Orchards, and 25 min to New Paltz and all that town has to offer. During winter there are wonderful cross country ski, snowshoeing and ice skating options, plus Belleayre Ski Resort is an hour away.
The cottage in the hamlet of Kerhonkson, NY and is nestled on 3.3 acres that abuts the Rail Trail and the Rondout Creek, and there is a small stream to the side of the house. There is a modern and fully equipped kitchen, along with a recently renovated modern bathroom with a lovely walk in shower. Good wifi is available throughout (even outside), and you will be able to stream your favorite shows on the smart TV and listen to music on the Sonos system. One bedroom has a queen size bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds that you can push together to create a king size bed. A small den off of the kitchen has a nice, light filled workspace if you need to work remotely. The grand sunroom gives you plenty of space to enjoy dining, gaming and looking out onto the backyard. In addition to the deck with sweeping views, in the backyard you will find a large fenced in area that is perfect for your 2 and 4 legged friends. There is a parking area in the front of the house that can accommodate 2-4 cars.
You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in “All-Risk” Damage Protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have big limitations in protection.
With “all-risk” protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless specifically excluded such as, but not limited to, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage.

- Routinely scheduled maintenance by Home Sweet Hudson team members or lawn care/snow plowing may happen during your stay. This also includes garbage pick up, linen pickup, hot tub service and pool cleanings.

- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- Weapons are strictly prohibited
- Please adhere to safety instructions for fireplaces, firepits, etc.
- We do not allow parties or extra guests outside the maximum occupancy allowed on the reservation. We also ask you to follow the good neighbor guidelines and abide by quiet hours after 9 pm.
- Please do not trespass on property boundaries
- Tents, yurts, and other camping equipment are prohibited
