Summary: Room was not sound proof at all. Unfortunately had a room positioned near a lift and was woken early every morning with loud noise. Also could just hear everyone having conversations. The aircon also made loud banging noises from 4am onwards. We asked the staff to fix this after the first night but we didn’t hear anything from the staff as to whether it was fixed and it happened again the second night. I messaged the hotel for a late check out in advance but was told I have to ask on the day of arrival which then it was not possible and our flight on checkout day was at 8pm. They said we can shower at the pool however we did not want to do this in front of everyone and get changed in a toilet. It would be good to accommodate requests in advance like this.
