The apartment, located on the first floor reachable on foot, opens onto a hallway from where it is possible to access the rooms. Summary: The apartment itself was nice considering the nightly rate but there were no extras. But again, the price was right. My husband snores terribly so we always rent an apartment with 2+ bedrooms and we expect to be able to use them. After being up for 24 hours, due to flight etc., I couldn't wait to just relax a little. There is no way that someone could get a satisfactory night's sleep in one of the bedrooms. It is SO loud at night and into the morning hours, specifically 3:00 a.m. MInd you its not your normal music most young adults listen to, its this hip-hop accompanied by banging (bangbox) that is impossible to ignore!!!!! I'm pretty tolerant but this was beyond belief. I notified the rental agency and they said I should have. known this from the comments from previous renters. It was truly horrible. My husband agreed to take the noisy bedroom as he wears hearing aids which lessened the ruckous somewhat. I am not talking about the street noise from those eating and enjoying the evening. They also said it was the historic district and I should expect this.
