But the perks don’t stop there—in addition to our Private Pool, our community has a huge Resort Pool set in a nature preserve. When you are tired of lounging on the beach or at the pool, take our 6-seat Golf Cart and explore all that Scenic 30A offers. Watersound West is ideally located in the heart of 30A. Our house is 0.7 miles from the Old Florida Fish House and Buddy’s Seafood Market, 1.7 miles from The Big Chill, 5 miles from Rosemary Beach, and 4 miles from Seaside, and close to Deer Lake State Park beach access.
Golf Cart Policy: Please note that a $500 refundable security deposit, a copy of your driver's license, and proof of insurance must be received per cart prior to your arrival.
Starter Pack: We provide our guests with a starter amenity pack of Gilchrist & Soames hand and body soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, trash can liners, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, dish sponges, coffee packs, and laundry detergent pods. Once the initial amenities are depleted, guests are responsible for supplying their own amenities.
Cancellation Policy: 100% refund when bookings are cancelled 60 days (or more) before the start of the stay. Bookings canceled between 59 and 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund. For your protection, we encourage you to procure Traveler’s Insurance. Guests are required to electronically sign the rental agreement within TWO days of booking; otherwise, the reservation is subject to cancellation.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property mananger and homeowners were extraordinarily compassionate and welcoming. The Captains Tower is beautifully decorated, spacious, and spacious. With the large number of queen/king bedrooms and bathrooms it's perfect for an adult family reunion or couples vacation. Having the Master and a second bedroom on the main floor was an asset! All the home furnishings were comfortable and in pristine condition. The kitchen is well-equipt with high end kitchen appliances with everything needed for preparing and serving meals. The wine frig, coffee machines, and barware were delightful and useful additions. We found the dining area large enough to accomodate the entire group, and the the living room had seating for everyone to watch the baseball game on the large screen tv after dinner.The home has a screened in porch where we met in the mornings to enjoy coffee and discuss the activities for the day; the small pool with chairs in the beach end was a perfect for a relaxing dip at the end of the day! There was also a golf cart available, though we did not require its use. The Watersound gated community itself has plenty to offer: a large community pool, a covered BBQ area, and a quiet deed-restricted beach. A real plus is the fact that there are paved parking areas along the streets where renters and their guests may park their cars. You can drive a car to the community pool for the convenience, but for those who enjoy walking it is an easy walk to the pool and then on to the beach. The home is a short bike ride and drive to many resaurants and shops. We are truly grateful to the owners and property management team and would enjoy a return to the Captain's Tower!
