Positive: Clearly at the price it is not a 5 star hotel BUT it is a 5 star experience! Helpful staff, spacious rooms, lots of facilities, powerful shower. And about a 6 minute walk to the VFS offices in The Shoppes Rama 9 Huai Khwang. And here is a tip for the shortest way to get to VFS if you are walking. Go to the end of the Soi Calmly is in, at the end turn right, stay on the right side of the road. After about 400 meters you will see traffic coming down a road on the left and turning into the road you are on. Stop for a minute, diagonally across the road is the building you want, locate a sign that says “parking”, cross the road to the road that contains the sign (watch out for the traffic from all directions). About 20 meters down this road is an entrance to Shoppes, go in, in front of you are escalators which will take you directly to the area where the various VFS offices are. Good luck with the Visa!
