1 Bedroom House in Shearer Hills - Ridgeview, San Antonio

Welcome! Safe, Quiet Area, but Easy Access to Everything. Specious Livingroom, 1 Bedroom/1 bath and Full Kitchen with Eating Area with private Fenced backyard for you! The whole place is yours only to use. Parking in the Private Parking Spaces in the back. Home is only 5 minutes from the Airport and 2 minutes to Loop 410, you can go anywhere in the city just about in 10 minutes. We have Everything needed to make you feel like you are home. My main goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and enjoy your stay. I expect that you'll have a 5 star Experience.
The entrance is on the back of the house, so you must come in through the private parking in the back to access the door. Please pull in to the street(Alley) behind the house. You will see sunflowers painted on the fence to guide up where to pull in. The parking space is lined with gravel and specifically for your unit only. Park in the spaces on the left side of the alley once you turn in. If necessary, you may also park on the street in front of the house and walk back around. Message me if you have any questions .
There are tons of yummy restaurants and places to go in the area, Shopping including North Star Mall in Walk-in Distance. This home is centrally located and convenient to everything!! The center of San Antonio!
If you have an unauthorized party or more guests than the original reservation, there is a $300 fee and your reservation will be canceled and you will be asked to leave the property immediately. Please communicate with me if you are planning on having extra guests. Even if they don't stay the night.
We provide the basic necessities such as hand soap and dish washing liquid, toilet paper, towels, bedsheets and pillows, clothes iron, hair dryer, drip coffee maker, microwave. We do Not provide laundry detergent, dryer sheets, coffee or basket filters, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner or body wash. Please bring your own if you need it.
Absolutely no glitter, smoking of any kind, or burning incense in the house. If we find evidence of any of these things, you will be charged a $250 additional cleaning fee.
Guest access:
The front and backyard are all for your use. There is also a washer and dryer for your use. I do not provide detergent.
Other things to note
Everything you need is here for you to use. If you need some last minute things that I don't happen to have for you, there is a Walmart Super center less than a mile away on one side and HEB (our local grocery store) 1/2 a mile the other way. And last but not least there's a Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's 1.3 miles away at the Quarry. And Central Market Close By. So you are surrounded by convenience. :-)

Summary: This was not our first time with VRBO. We've used your services previously in Vancouver Island, Canada, where we stayed at three different places. Those were very pleasant places, and maybe we got spoiled for comfort. This property in San Antonio was ok, the landlady was very friendly and helpful, the place itself was cozy and the neighborhood is great, it is very peaceful and quiet, and everything is a very short drive away. We even walked to a lovely nearby park. However, we did have a few issues: as we tried to use the sofa-bed, we found out that there had been no cleaning under it; also we had to wash the dish drying tray, that was really dirty and also the plates, cups, and cutlery that we used, since those seemed to have been poorly washed. The kitchen knives were blunt and we couldn't find a sharpening rod to help us. One thing we had seen on previous reviews on this property was that the fridge was loud, and it is very loud indeed. One other thing we found odd was that workers came to work on the lot beside the unit, but the access to said lot was through the unit's fence, so we were surprised to see people opening our gate and coming into the front yard. Previous warning would have been nice. Finally, I'd like to mention that we had to change our reservation, reducing it from 14 to 12 days, to spend a few days in Austin. We could change it at no extra cost, and we expect those two unused days to be reimbursed into my credit card, which hasn't happened yet.
