Summary: Bases loaded was a perfect location for access to the beach and a ton of shops and restaurants just across the street. It felt like a beachy community and not "commercialized". The house had a very nice layout with bedroom and bathrooms for multiple families. The improvements that could be made are to items for the kitchen like a decent cutting board, grater, etc. Also, there was no hand soap in any bathroom when we arrived. It would be nice for there to be at least one bathroom to have some soap for arrival until families can get to the store. We were surprised there were no "leftover" sand toys, or other beach items which is typical for a VRBO beach property where these things can be left behind and available for future renters. If you are expecting some basic sand buckets and shovels just know they must clean out every item left behind by prior renters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would consider renting this property again.
