BRAND NEW LISTING! This fresh, open and bright one-bedroom, free-standing cottage is a wonderful place for a relaxing Truro retreat. Part of the Highland Acres Association, this roomy unit is nicely furnished and tastefully appointed. There are lovely outdoor spaces and you are just minutes from Beach Point Beach on Cape Cod Bay.
Enter an eat-in kitchen with dining table with seating for four. The well-appointed kitchen has an electric range, a refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, toaster and blender. One side of the kitchen opens to the living room with comfortable seating and large flat screen smart TV with cable (stream additional content with your own accounts). The living room has a ductless split unit air conditioner. A slider opens to a deck and the yard beyond.
A hall on the other side of the kitchen leads to the bedroom with queen bed, flat screen smart TV with cable (stream additional content with your own accounts), ceiling fan and window air conditioner unit. A vaulted ceiling gives the room an open and airy feel.
There is also a full bathroom with tub/shower off the hall.
This quintessential Cape Cod cottage has lovely outdoor spaces including a front deck, a side patio and a wooded yard dotted with mature plantings and flowers. There is a picnic table and gas grill. Around the back of the cottage is an enclosed outdoor shower and clothesline for wet swimsuits.
A stacked washer/dryer is conveniently located in the shed at the back of the cottage (exterior access only).
Bring your bike and explore this wonderful area. A mile down the road is Salty Market, Captain's Choice and Chequessett Chocolate--you may not need that kitchen after all! Beach Point Beach is less than a mile away (0.6 mi)--approximately a 13-minute walk or 3-minute bike ride. Cold Storage Beach is only 1.6 mi away--about a 27-minute walk, 8-minute bike ride or 4-minute car ride.
Close to Provincetown! The property is on the shuttle route--park your car and take a short ride into P-town for restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, live entertainment, night clubs, whale watches, fishing charters and more. Head out to popular Race Point and Herring Cove Beaches in the Cape Cod National Seashore. Golf, live concerts at Payomet Performing Arts, tours of Highland Lighthouse and wine tasting at Truro Vineyards are only a short drive away in Truro.
