The carriage was originally built for British Rail in 1962, and now this beautiful railway carriage caters for 6 people with two double bedrooms, the master having an en-suite, a family bathroom with a bath and over bath shower, a bunk bedroom for kids, a fully functional kitchen with electric hob, oven, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment and an open plan lounge and dining area with a TV, DVD player. The whole carriage has bottled gas central heating so will be nice and cosy in the winter months. Included in your stay will be: bedding, towels, tea towels, all kitchen necessities, TV with freeview channels, DVDs, tea, coffee, and a welcome hamper. We can provide you with a travel cot and a high chair if necessary. Parking for up to 3 cars is available outside the carriage.
When it comes to outside space the carriage has an elevated balcony which is surrounded by glass giving you an excellent view of the station and railway line and of the surrounding countryside. The balcony has seating for 6 people and is great for alfresco dining whilst watching the beautiful sunsets over the River valley.
