Just 5 minutes to town and 5 minutes to skiing sits this private and secluded lodge in the soulful energetic town of Crested Butte. Located up the Slate River valley with breathtaking views of Paradise Divide in one direction and the town of Crested Butte in the other as well as unobstructed views of the Slate River. This gated and very private property is perfectly situated to watch the infamous Blue Heron rookery and provides direct access to the Lupine Trail for endless hiking and biking opportunities.
This 5,300 sq foot home is comprised of 6 bedrooms and 6 ½ baths, a 2-car heated garage, pool table/game room, exercise room complete with a Peloton bike and a large hot tub. Each ofthe six uniquely designed bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, are complete with Ralph Lauren and Sferra bedding. The tastefully appointed and meticulously maintained house is completely paneled with wide plank Cypress and reclaimed barn timbers imported from Georgia, which gives it awarm and cozy feeling throughout.
You enter the house into the great room with 25’ ceilings andexpansive views past the natural stacked rock fireplace. Directly off the great room is the dining room and chef appointed gourmet kitchen with top of the line stainless appliances including a Viking range and Sub Zero refrigerator, dual dishwashers, soapstone countertops and a butler’s pantry with a wine refrigerator. The master suite located on this floor boasts a 16’ two-story vaulted ceiling, complete with a large master bathroom with a tub and steam shower. The entire main floor opens onto a expansive wrap around deck with custom railings, a built-in grill and arguably one of the best views in the entire valley. Upstairs you will find two separate bedrooms with queen beds, each with their own private baths and sitting rooms, along with a fun third bedroom for the kids that has twin beds.
The lower level unfolds into a large game room complete with a pool table, wet bar and another beautiful wood burning fireplace as well as an exercise room with a Peloton Bike and an office. On this level you will find two oversized junior suites with private baths and queen beds. Finally, you walk out the door directly to the newly installed oversize hot tub where you can soak away your tired muscles asyou gaze out at the amazing views.

Summary: Loved everything about the house. We were expecting a lot from the pictures and description but the home actually exceeded expectations. The location, views, rooms, decks, and home features all were amazing. The home was extremely cozy and the kitchen had every imaginable item for a seasoned cook to thrive. Plus every room was masterfully appointed and thought out for a fabulous experience as you moved about the house. We had a wonderful vacation in Crested Butte and the home was the star. Bravo!
