Spectacular views of Whistler and Blackcomb on your vacation - winter or summer. Our Black Bear chalet is a beautiful and very bright home within walking distance to the exciting Whistler Village where there are 100’s of restaurants, shops and galleries – there is truly something for everyone! Or, if you prefer, just stay at the chalet and relax with a glass of wine, cook a big pot of spaghetti and enjoy the views with your friends and family. It’s up to you – it’s your vacation and all about having relaxation and fun!
The chalet is a very tastefully decorated home with a large and open floor plan. New updates include granite countertops in the kitchen. The living and dining area both offer incredible views from every window (and there are A LOT of windows), so at any spot in the room, you feel that you really are in the mountains! There is also plenty of comfortable and cozy seating (nothing is worse than uncomfortable furniture at the end of a ski day!) with a large 40” HD TV with PVR. The dining room has a lovely, rustic antique dining table – large enough to seat everyone. The kitchen is also equipped with all of the necessary conveniences, including a GE Profile gas stove and oven. There is also a large and very private hot-tub located outside – a perfect place to ease the pain of those aching muscles. For the summer, there is a huge balcony with an unobstructed view of the mountains perfect for those summer days. There is also lots of chairs, a patio set, and a gas BBQ for outside dining
When it is time to call it a day, there are 4 spacious and nicely decorated bedrooms “each” with their own full bathroom and fireplace – very private. All of the bedrooms are similar in size and layout and located on the lower level away from the living area. Bedroom #1 has 1 queen bed, bdrm, #2 has 1 king (or 2 twins) and a HD TV, bdrm #3 1 king or 2 twins) and bdrm #4 has 1 king ( or 2 twins). There is enough room for 8 people to sleep (or four couples) all with a nice, soft duvet and comfortable pillows. There are also full size closets and windows in every bedroom. All of the bedrooms are private, clean and comfortable.
This is a great propery for any large or small group; friends or family. The great location and large living area in addition to the private bedrooms make it a perfect get away spot.
