Positive: The location was quite different from the norm for Newfoundland. The property is a modern well equipped cottage on a large freshwater pond well removed from the ocean. There is easy access to an interesting drive around the Irish Loop (Cape Race and Mistaken Point) or to Cape St. Mary. Despite the cool fall weather, the cabin was very comfortable. It is very suitable for a family or four adults. The hosts have provided an amazing choice of music and videos.
Negative: The internet connectivity was not good but that is probably beyond the host's control.
Summary: A peaceful, well-equipped refuge in a wilderness setting but close to St. John's.
