Positive: Tools had their own bathroom which is great. Most places in Japan don’t have this.
Negative: This place needs some work, I don’t often leave reviews but I will in this case. Hotel is out of the way and is very isolated. Do not stay here if you don’t have a car! The rooms had little furniture, just mattresses on the floor, the pictures when you book don’t reflect this. We wanted western beds and they were spring mattress and the springs poked through. Probably up there with the worst spring mattress I have ever slept on. Breakfast is served at 8am which is kind of late if you want to head up the mountain. We did request breakfast early and we were accommodated, but it consisted of a loaf of bread and spreads. The drying room must be turned off at night, so the gear didn’t dry which wasn’t great for the kids gloves.
Summary: Don’t stay here unless you have a car
