Casone is a typical Tuscan country house, embedded in a small hamlet of a total of four country houses. It is built from natural stones, has high ceilings with wooden beams and original old and new terracotta floors. It consists of the main house CASA and a separate apartment APPARTAMENTO. The passages and doors are partly original with old fittings. The atmosphere is characterized by antique furniture and beautiful antiques. Due to its construction, the house is not barrier-free (stairs). The north and west sides are surrounded by a spacious terracotta terrace and an approximately 600 square meter garden with beautiful olive trees and an approximately 2000 square meter olive grove.
Casone CASA offers living space of approx. 82 square meters and is well suited for 2 to 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, 1 bathroom, 1 balcony and two large terraces.
The main entrance to Casone CASA leads to a large, cozy kitchen with an open fireplace and a cast iron wood stove. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge-freezer, two electric plates, kettle, espresso machine, toaster, cookware and high-quality dishes. There is a large dining table and wicker chairs for indoors and outdoors.
There are two bedrooms available: Primo and Secondo.
At 16 square meters, the Primo is the larger bedroom. It has a double bed (1.65 x 2.00 m), a desk, a wardrobe and a large shelf with traditional clay pots and a small library. The window goes to the west side.
The secondo is equipped with a double bed (1.45mx 1.95m), a chest of drawers and clothes hooks. It has direct access to the larger north terrace and the garden with a beautiful view of the countryside.
The living room has a comfortable couch, satellite TV (German and Italian television) and an east-facing balcony. No WiFi, but LTE reception.
The east balcony of the living room offers a wonderful view over the gentle hills of southeastern Tuscany and is the perfect place for breakfast or coffee breaks.
The bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower and toilet. There is running hot and cold water. Please note that the water pressure is not so high due to technical reasons.
Casone CASA is surrounded by a north and west terrace, each with a dining table and enough space for deck chairs.
The 600 sqm large and beautiful garden with olive, cypress, lilac and almond trees adjoins the north terrace. With its seating and a beautiful view of the valley, it invites you to a picnic with vino, olives and pecorino.
A private olive grove with 50 olive trees is right behind the garden. Every year in late October is olive harvest. We produce our natural organic olive oil. Depending on the crop yield, between 60 and 100 liters of olive oil per year.
The parking space is directly in front of the site. You can park on and in front of the parking space. There is space for a total of two cars.
