Positive: It’s a spacious high quality apartment with good quality appliances (Miele) and some interesting design features. Also the kitchen as such is well equipped. You have a TV (I did not manage to get it running except for Netflix) and a Bluetooth speaker. WLAN is working fine. Communication with Theresa was easy and with little delay. Thanks for checking after the blackout ;) The location is ideal if you have your own car and want to explore the surroundings of Lisbon. We mainly used Bolt to get to places and returned public. There is a bigger supermarket in the vicinity and a small mini market very close. The walk to Belem and Alges is OK. In Alges you can find several more supermarkets. It is very nice to go to Belem seafront at night. There are some good restaurants and 90% of the tourists disappear in the evening. So nice compared to packed Lisbon.
Negative: The condition of the apartment is not living up to the design standard. It is underwhelming and even disappointing. It needs a deep cleaning, maintenance and fixing and someone should go there and throw away/replace damaged old stuff. Several things are broken or in bad shape and need to be fixed . Many corners have not seen a cleaning for a long time. And the carpet is completely unsexy. We had to do a little cleaning ourselves after arrival to feel comfy. I strongly recommend to wash/clean and properly fix the curtains. They are smelly, have a yellow patina , are not in their reel in many places and make the place look shabby. Some shutters did not work and I never managed to open the main door to the balcony. You will find the bare minimum at arrival. 2+2 towels and that is it. No coffee, tea, salt, pepper, shampoo .. anything. Bring your own everything. Even when staying longer there is no in between cleaning service offered. It would be good to get a ´manual´for the apartment to understand where stuff is and how things are working.
