Welcome to this charming country cottage, a few hundred yards from Long Pond in a very quiet neighborhood. Located conveniently just outside Acadia National Park and with easy access to Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor. It’s centrally located on the island so it’s convenient to run out to Ellsworth or take an early morning drive on Park Loop Road. It’s just a couple of miles from the closest Carriage Road

Beautiful and spacious yard, with statuesque evergreens and apple trees. Minutes from Long Pond and the National Park. Canoe rental and Long Pond at the head of our road. Deer visit the property regularly. There’s a beautiful back porch for relaxing at night and entertaining friends.

Summary: We drove down from Canada to meet up with friends and really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We had everything we needed for our stay, the beds were comfortable, and we were happy to be so close to Acadia for some excellent hiking. We really appreciated the hike suggestions in the cottage guidebook!
