Breakfast on the sunny patio every sunny morning. Completely renovated gourmet kitchen with gas BBQ through French doors on rear patio. Blackout curtains in main bedrooms for lazy mornings. 5 minutes walk to 9 hole golf course, 10 minutes to walkway along local marina, 30 mins. walk into the village for coffee or lunch, or a 40 minute walk around the golf course perimeter . Surrounding area is flat so bring your bikes for easy cycling to local restaurants, brewpubs, and farms, or the bi-weekly Sunday farmers market in the village for fresh fruit, vegetables, and scrumptious pastries. You can even put your bikes on the ferry and cycle into Victoria and back for the day on a designated bike trail the whole way. It's all flat and no cars so safe and easy! Most close neighbours are retired so extremely quiet, plus street out front is not a through street so virtually no traffic at front of house. Super private SE facing back yard with patio and high hedge gets sun all day until about 5pm. Lovely teak style outdoor dining table w. six chairs, cushions, umbrella, and gas BBQ right off the gourmet kitchen/family room. 2 indoor gas fireplaces for chilly evenings, although whole house has radiant in-floor heating. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, and convection oven. Two 18 hole golf courses are within 20 mins. drive. Explore the area by walking the pier and having lunch along the beach strip in White Rock, check out the relaxed atmosphere of Crescent Beach, or visit Steveston for fish and chips. All of these attractions are within 30 minutes drive. Downtown Vancouver is 40 mins. away by car, or park the car in Richmond and take the Skytrain downtown. The ferry terminal is only 20 mins. away by car, which makes it super easy to do a day trip to Victoria and back.
