Summary: The farmhouse was what dreams are made of - we loved its character. Clean and well equipped (although more than the 1 tea towel supplied would have been useful). Beds were very comfortable (and fun to get on if you’re only 5’ tall… quite high!), bedding and towels were lovely and fresh. It didn’t take long to get used to the quaintly laid out kitchen😉 Garden was fantastic… great pool, good sturdy garden furniture (particularly loved the huge swing seat) and an abundance of lizards and a few geckos keeping us company over breakfast. We were unfortunate to have a group of very loud lads arrive next door in the middle of our 2 week break, so didn’t spend as much time in the garden during their week stay, but made the most of it again when they left! Worth venturing up to the roof to watch the bats and stargaze too. The farmhouse is brilliantly located. We hired a car and pretty much saw all the island over our fortnight. Loads of sights to see (we enjoyed all the ones recommended in the guest book Krishna sends out). There is a bakery making biscuits almost directly opposite Ta’Krishna - the smells are delicious (and you can buy the end results from Noel’s Supermarket - just a couple of minutes walk from the farmhouse). We ate out several times, but our absolute favourite was The Tal Furna Bar and Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, but the people and atmosphere were what made us go back - don’t leave without visiting (reservation seemed essential).
