Welcome to your Salt Lake Avenues home away from home! Stay in this well appointed 1000+ sq/ft basement suite with lots of large windows, a private entrance, full kitchen, laundry and only a 15-minute walk from the center of downtown Salt Lake and Temple Square.
You won't find a better home in the heart of the Ave’s Historic District. Enjoy free high-speed 260 Mbps WIFI while watching Netflix or cable on the big screen TV or take a short walk for coffee, restaurants. 10 minute walk to DT SLC.
The space
Come in and enjoy our beautiful and spacious basement apartment with Queen and sofa bed, private entrance, full kitchen, laundry, and a shared backyard with BBQ grill, and year-round hot-tub.
Your hosts are locals who have opinions about pretty much everything and are happy to provide suggestions and advice while you're visiting our amazing city.
SLEEP:
The queen bed is amazing. There are extra blankets, pillows, and even a space heater in case you need a little extra warmth. The sofa bed is as comfortable as you'd guess and there are extra mats/cots in the closet if you prefer.
EAT:
The new kitchen is stocked with all the essentials including cutlery, pots & pans, utensils, dishwasher, full-sized fridge, stove, range, and microwave. There's also a grill outside for year-round steaks!
RELAX:
Hot tub. Nuff said.
UNDER MINOR CONSTRUCTION:
The backyard & 2nd story of the home will be having a few minor repairs (updating bathrooms and landscaping). This will not affect the use of shared amenities like the hot tub and there will be occasional construction noise during “business hours” (9-5pm). If this ever gets in the way of your enjoyment of the property, please let us know. Your satisfaction is more important to us than the money we receive from your stay.
Guest access
This is our home. The place we love, work, play, dream, sleep, eat and enjoy the company of our guests.
Please enjoy your entire space, the entire backyard area, grill, seating, and of course the hot-tub. The outside areas of the home may be used between 7AM and 10PM. ( As long as you're respectful and quiet, we don't mind after hours enjoyment of the backyard, hot tube either.)

Summary: This apartment met all of our needs (my husband and me) for our trip to Salt Lake City. The hosts were very accommodating and communicative. They were really great! The place was comfortable and convenient for walking downtown or Ubering to other places around the city. We were there for only a short time, but I think a longer stay would work as well because the kitchen is well equipped, and there’s even a laundry room.
