Avaro House is situated on Tupapa Beach on the North East coast of Rarotonga and only 4 minutes drive from town, 7 minutes from the airport and less than 100 metres from the local "24hr Superstore" with ATM. Great ocean views and a perfect location to spot whales during the season (Jul to Nov).
The wraparound decks and swimming pool are ideal for groups and fantastic for that evening BBQ.
All modern facilities, furniture and a fantastic outlook complete the picture. Ideal for families or groups of friends. Avaro House sleeps up to 8 guests in three queen beds, a single bed and foldout in the living area.
The outside deck areas have wonderful views of the lagoon through the lush vegetation and at night, be lulled to sleep by the surf on the reef.
Enjoy walks along the beach, swimming and lounging in the private pool, and barbecues beside the pool.

Summary: I rented this property for 4 of us (1 couple and 2 singles) and it was perfect. It’s a great location if you have a rental car close to everything but still far enough from the resorts and such. We felt so lucky to be oceanfront with a pool for such a great price! Beach was 100% rock/shell but still beautiful for sunrises and some light swimming. Great deal for what it has to offer. We paid for early check in -definitely worth it for early flight from America. One of the property managers stopped by once we arrived to answer questions and give us the low down on the island. They were always quick to communicate and made the rental process easy. The only issue we had with the property was the washer was broken before we arrived but no one mentioned to us until halfway through our stay. Very inconvenient for the week long stay. The property managers said they replaced it but didn’t and was still broken so they sent repair men who also couldn’t fix it and took it away. They promised to pay for laundry service they recommended that was close by to take it to get done. The clothes came back with stains and wet. We submitted a receipt as requested and waiting to hear back to hopefully get it resolved.
