Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location and layout were great. Well appointed for couples traveling together, or families. The pool was nice, the beach setup was lovely. The staff were helpful.

Negative: The unit did not have a couple basic supplies- like a kitchen towel or roll of paper towels. We had to ask to get extra toilet paper (one roll was supplied per bathroom), and it took us a while to figure out how to use the expression machine - but once we did, it was fine and coffee was supplied. There was some morning construction sound around 10am. We were unable to use the washing machine due to intermittent power problems - but we were never out of power for a long time. mostly it just went off then on again. The last night we were there, the internet just went out. It was not up the next morning when we left. Finally, the beach itself was beautiful, but the ocean bottom was mostly live sea grass next to the shore, so we didn't really swim there. None of this overly affected our ability to have a wonderful stay with Artila.

Summary: Beautiful new construction, quiet side of the island, and everything was accessible via golf cart.
