Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Excellent location near the centre in an almost medieval ambience. The apartment is clearly furnished with love and with a desire to make people feel welcome, up to and including the wine and chocolates.
Negative: Though I knew it, two sets of stairs with heavy luggage are a challenge for a septuagenarian. Even though I am fundamentally an early technology adopter, I am also increasingly getting fed up with overautomated procedures, which are meant to save costs and manpower, but have the user interact with machines rather than humans. I found the check-in process complicated after 3 days of driving long distances and poor lighting. The host was available by phone, so all worked out, but I increasingly wonder whether i should not go for accommodations where you are met at the door the old fashioned way.
