Positive: Location is excellent and the apartment itself is well designed and fitted out. The shower is excellent.
Negative: There was major building construction going on across the little lane way from the apartment. Thus, it was very dusty and the silt-like dust was in the atmosphere - you walked through a heavy cloud of it to access the front door. Even though we didn’t open any windows due to the dust, a bit of it was in the apartment too. Also, we requested a non smoking room and it was highly evident a previous guest had smoked in there. The furnishings smelled badly of stale smoke and the smell has now travelled with us on our clothes at our new destination. Of course, we couldn’t open any windows to air out the apartment due to the dusty construction. I had an allergic reaction to the dust and smoking effects and ended up with a sinus infection and needing antibiotics. A shame as I think the owner is a very nice person who tried his best to please us. Be aware of the dust if you want to stay here.
