Summary: We stayed at the Alaska View Lodge for four nights while in Seward with my wife and three adult children and had a great time. The location is wonderful - 5 minutes to Seward makes it close to all of the activities there, but removed enough to feel out on your own a bit as well - out enough we got to watch a mama moose and her two calves grazing right in the backyard - amazing! We also saw salmon a five minute drive away at the Salmon Weir. Very clean, well stocked (in fact, extremely well stocked!) kitchen - how many VRBO's have a meat thermometer? Beds are great, two full bathrooms are also great. Great communication, very helpful host with suggestions for the area etc. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Seward and it were available. Great stay, great host, great property, great location!
