Lakeside Barns is set within 5 acres by the Stunning Mendip Hills AONB and surrounded by beautiful Somerset countryside. Relax by the seated duck pond with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet. If feeling energetic, fantastic walking and cycling on the doorstep golf course and fishing. Finish with drink at the village pub.
South Hill is the end barn of three. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4. Spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area with exposed beams and a vaulted ceiling. Solid oak furniture, tiled floors and wonderful underfloor heating throughout. Free WiFi. Robes and slippers provided, toiletries and towels. Sunny enclosed private patio at rear that is not overlooked.
Plenty of parking right outside the front door. Many beaches nearby, Weston super Mare, Uphill and Brean. Great for exploring Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the beautiful Cathedral City of Wells, Glastonbury Tor, Bath, Bristol and Taunton.

Summary: Lovely clean cottage, with memory foam beds, comfy sofas, TVs in both bedrooms and a small private patio. Trudy is a very welcoming host, with scones and fresh flowers on arrival. We loved seeing the animals and particularly the very friendly dogs who came to visit. The cottage is an easy journey to beaches and many sites, we particularly enjoyed visiting Tyntesfield and Wells.
