Immediately after purchasing this home in early 2016 we initiated a large renovation including painting the entire home, new lighting, new appliances, increased square footage, new floors throughout the entire house, new decks, tree removal and landscaping.

Have kids?: No problem! So do we! You will not find a more kid friendly rental! Toy room provides toys so everyone enjoys their vacation more! Toys and games for kids of all ages (even grown kids at heart!) Grab one of our fishing rods and let your youngster catch his/her first fish! High chair provided. Take our kiddie pool down to the lake so all ages can enjoy the water! There is also a waterside swing set and sandbox!
Indoor entertainment: worried about rainy days? We have you covered! Game room with ping pong, foosball, poker tables, and pool table! Numerous flat screen HD TVs with DVD, Blue Ray, cable tv, Wi-Fi internet.
Outdoor entertainment: everything you need to enjoy magnificient SML and our beautiful property--canoe, kayak, paddleboat, stand up paddle board, horseshoes, cornhole set with bags, fishing rods, picnic table, dock chairs, noodles, floats and other water toys.
Fishing: interested in landing SML's legendary citation stripers? We have arrangements with some of the lake's premier striper guides just for you! Some have agreed to consider discounts and dockside pick up for our guests. Head out to reel in fish for fun, dinner, or even to mount on your wall! Some of the best fishing on the lake can even be done by boat or from our docks in the cove! Fishing rods provided.

Summary: We were told as we arrived a basement bedroom carpet had been shampooed and was not completely dry. Were told the room was usable, the carpet should be dry soon. As we entered the house, the smell of damp/mildew coming up through the basement stairwell was immediately noticeable. In the main rec. room area of the basement the smell was strong. The damp air was uncomfortable. The bedroom carpet described as “damp” from shampooing was saturated with water and the smell/feel of dampness in that room and the attached bathroom was intolerable. Visible water stains in the ceiling, on the furniture ,along the baseboard of the room. Closet door in that bedroom was too swollen to open/close and was rottting from the bottom up. The saturated rug and damp/mildew smell could NOT have resulted from a shampoo as we'd been told. The smell /dampness permeated the entire basement. Called Ashley to express my dismay and was told she had just been in the house and thought the basement smelled “clean”. Repeatedly said she had no knowledge of any flood/leak and had nothing to “disclose”. She refused to adjust the rental price to compensate for the unusable basement and told me we could cancel our stay and find another house if we wanted. No chance of that on Labor day weekend! Honorable business people take responsibility when things go wrong and try to make it right. This company was not honest with us and did absolutely nothing to try to make the situation right
