4 Bedroom Cabin in Jay

This chalet-style cabin sits quietly in the woods with stunning, natural views and a new, private sauna. The home is in the Adirondack Park near Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Lake Placid, and Keene Valley, with endless opportunities for outdoor exploration & adventure year-round. Guests have access to hiking and x-country ski trails, river swimming and fishing points, and tennis courts. Enjoy the sauna, shuffleboard, record players, karaoke machine, wood stove, and fire pit at the cabin.
The space
The cabin includes 4 private bedrooms - 1 king size bed, 2 queen size beds, and 1 double size bed. The living room has a sofa that unfolds to make another double size bed. There are 2 full bathrooms with brand new bath/showers. The kitchen is fully renovated with custom stone countertops and brand new appliances including an electric stove/oven, an ultra-quiet dishwasher, and a refrigerator. A microwave, toaster, and blender are provided along with plenty of cookware, dinnerware, and an assortment of spices. A coffee maker is also provided along with coffee beans and a grinder for freshly ground coffee. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a 40 inch TV. Downstairs is a game room with a shuffleboard table, a table for playing cards and boardgames, and record player with an assortment of vinyl records. The newly built front deck has a wood burning fire pit and a charcoal grill for BBQ. The yard has another outdoor fire pit with string lights and chairs.

Summary: My family and I go on an ADK trip every Memorial Day. This has by far been one of our favorite places to stay! It slept 9 of us very comfortably (7 adults, 2 kids). It’s so quiet and remote feeling, yet close to everything. The only thing I’d say, is if you’re staying here during the cooler months, and plan on staying in the down stairs area, bring some slippers or cozy socks. The floor down there is cement so it gets pretty chilly. Luckily there are plenty of baseboard heaters to properly heat the space. The downstairs consists of a cute little sitting area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. My kids ended up sleeping in the sitting area and my husband and I in the bedroom. It was great that we could have our own space with extra privacy from the rest of the family.
