Positive: We loved this apartment especially because of the balcony where we had an expansive view towards the sea and the mountains. The French doors in all three rooms (bedroom, living room, & bathroom) face away from the main street where the building entrance is so it was pretty quiet. We enjoyed sitting at the little bistro set for our morning coffee and evening happy hour every day of our stay! The weather was great though we did have a rain storm one night which was fun to watch roll-in. We kept the French doors open all night for the fresh air, though we lowered the outdoor electric shutters to keep the bedroom dark. We also loved the view from the window in the bathroom. The bathroom vanity was so convenient with two big drawers for our toiletries. Shower was nice! As were the towels and soaps. The kitchen appeared well stocked, though we never cooked. In the bedroom, there were nice built-in closets with enough hangers and shelves on each side of the bed so we could charge our phones and leave our personal items. We appreciated the directions in English for the washing machine and the laundry soap. Host was also terrific! Viviana had no problem letting us arrive early or leave a bit late to coincide with our airport bus. The instructions to get in were very easy with the use of a lockbox, and we had no problems getting in and out of the apartment building or unit. Check-out was simple and the 10 minute walk to the airport bus stop is fairly direct. The walk to the Old Town is in the same direction and we enjoyed exploring and dining in that area. We rented a car for two days and though there seemed to be enough street parking we did as some other guests suggested and left the car by the free parking at the port about 10-15 min walk from the apartment. We always walked a different way home so we could see more things. We really enjoyed our three night stay! We highly recommend A Doma Tua!
Summary: Modern, clean and comfortable with a super host! A great home base for your visit to Alghero!
