Summary: My husband and I rented this property for the month of January and February 2023. It was advertised as a 3 bedroom house that slept 5 people. The price was the same whether you rented as a single person or if there were 5 people that would be staying for the duration. Shortly before our trip, I contacted the landlord to ask about the bedding in the third bedroom. He questioned why I would need to know that if there were only two of us. I explained that I had a friend that may come and visit for two nights. He told me if I intended to bring anyone else in, he was going to charge me $20 per night on top of the thousands that I had already paid. There was no rational reason for this. We are senior citizens. This is not a party group that would be trashing his property. When we arrived at the property, he had actually locked up the third bedroom, and we were never allowed to use it! Many of the amenities that were listed on line for the property did not exist. We were provided with exactly one towel each for our two months stay. We are perfectly capable of buying items on our own, and would expect to, but the description listed, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, shampoo, coffee, bottled water, oatmeal, etc, etc. None of these were provided and there is no iron or ironing board as listed, just a very wet fabric steamer. The house was clean and provided a security system and outside cameras. The location is close to downtown and the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed Delray. The city of Delray Beach provides free transportation with an app called Freebee. It was extremely convenient for our trips to the beach.
