Just steps away from the most beautiful lake in Georgia, Getaway Cove at Lake Oconee is the ultimate retreat for families, friends and more. This 6-bedroom, 6-bathroom penthouse (second floor) condo, located within Cuscowilla, boasts a beautiful open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic lake views at the heart of Lake Oconee.
Upon entering the main level of condo, guests are greeted by an oversized living room with a wall of windows, filling the space with natural light and a beautiful view of the lake. On this level you will also find an open kitchen with stainless-steel appliances fit for a gourmet chef, beautiful hardwood floors, a farmhouse table that can seat 14 and two luxurious seating areas. This level features a 55-inch TV, surround sound and access two identical patios that overlook the lake; perfect for sunrise coffee or sunset cocktails.
Four of the six bedrooms and bathrooms can also be found on the main level, including two identical master bedrooms with king beds and spacious bathrooms. The beds are adorned with luxurious sheets and feather duvets and are equipped with Cable TV. Each master bedroom also features a large bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower, double vanity and a large walk in closet. The two additional bedrooms on this level each feature a queen bed and connect directly to a full bathroom.
The top floor opens to a grand loft overlooking the large bay windows and features a vintage pool table, seating area, HDTV with surround sound and DVD player. Also accessed from the top floor are two identical bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Each bedroom on this level contains a queen bed and bunk bed (one double, one twin). This property sleeps 16 comfortably and includes two infant cribs.
A washer and dryer, high-speed wireless internet, Cable TV and Smart TVs that provide access to streaming services are all included.

Summary: OMG, words can’t express how happy I am with this property. The pictures doesn’t do justice for what my family and I witnessed. Breathtaking, comes to mind when you open the secured electrical locked doors to see views of the lake greeting you. Very spacious and clean. When we travel, I always take my personal pots, pans, cooking utensils, toilet trees, paper products, pillows, etc., because other places we visited had nothing to offer but space. However, this property had everything and more. I did use my items because I packed them but it’s not needed. Only thing needed for this rental is you and your loved ones. The seating area was a huge plus so we all can sit together to eat and have fun. I will definitely reserve this location again once the weather warms so we can boat ride and walk the lake. The sunset from the bay windows is fantastic. My husband and I watched the sun rise over the lake from our balcony drinking hot cider and hot cocoa since it was 18 degrees outside. Property management is and was very friendly and helpful. I will recommend to all but save a space for my future booking. Just Kidding; go for it!!! I do guarantee you or your family will not be disappointed. This is the first time I can say I Love It!!! My family of all ages from my mom who is a seasoned woman (not old) lol and my millennium daughters and my niece were very satisfied with no complaints. Please do yourself a favor and book.
