Cozy and relaxing beach cottage is perfect for a summer getaway or for a Fall football weekend at Norte Dame. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs (Beds: queen, queen, full, and two twins), open concept, great kitchen, fireplaces, 2 full bathrooms, tv/wifi, driveway for parking, washer/dryer in basement, dishwasher, office with hide-a-bed downstairs, also the couch in the living room is a hide-a-bed. The outside has a big wrap around deck with grill and table with 6 chairs. Sheridan beach, Zoo, and Washington Park are all in a 3 block walking distance. Shoreline brewery, Blue Chip casino & Lighthouse outlets are also very close. 30 minute drive to Norte Dame, perfect for game day in the Fall. Adorable café & restaurant down the street.

Summary: As others have said, the house has quirks that take a day or two to get used to, but it grows on you. :) the toddler-friendliness evens out, since the physical house itself is not especially toddler-friendly (steep stairs with a "gate" going up that doesn't actually latch, uneven floors, toddler-sized pet hole in the basement door, dishwasher with a broken spring so that the door swings down kinda violently), but there are lots of excellent amenities, toys, and games for toddlers and older-ish kids (our kids' ages range from 1-8). The house is an excellent value, and I would recommend to anyone coming for more than a couple of days, so that they have time to get used to the quirks. :) We really enjoyed our time here.
