Our Family Cottage has a bathroom, kitchen, living room, four bedrooms and a great room. The great room can be used as a fifth bedroom; it is equipped with a double size pull out sofa bed. The living room also has a queen size pull out sofa bed. In addition, there are two twin blow up beds at the cottage. Entry to the cottage is into the great room. An interior door allows you to pass into the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, four burner full size oven range, dishwasher, cups, bowls, cutlery, coffee machine, blender, toaster and microwave. There is a huge outdoor deck with a dining table, chairs and a gas barbeque. Four Adirondack chairs, four lounge chairs and a fire pit is on the beach. There is ample parking at the cottage for 8 cars.
Thirty steps from the deck across our private sand beach is the crystal clear water of Georgian Bay. Our sandy beach and lake bottom has no drop offs is very safe. Our private bay is protected by two rock peninsulas, making it very private. The water has an incredible 90-foot visibility without any weeds. This visibility makes swimming and snorkeling incredible! The beach has white sand which is great for sandcastle building. Our property is excellent the very young, very old and all ages in between. The property is forested with mature trees and offers full sun for the sun seekers and also shade at all times of the day. The cottage is located in Tiny Township. An amazing area of Georgian Bay as it is on open water, in a quiet area and only 90 minutes from Toronto! After staying on Tiny beaches, so many people return to its unmatched beauty and great swimming summer after summer.Additional rules
Cleaning fees are only for sanitization of the cottage Guest/s agree to leave cottage the way they found it.
• Guests are allowed to leave one garbage bag per week. Additional bag/s will be charged at 10.00 per bag to cover removal and disposal costs.
• Please leave your garbage ONLY In garbage bag/s inside the grey box at the end of the driveway. Please latch the box to prevent raccoons from entering box.
• Please place all in blue bins. Please see the posted recycling page adjacent to the entry door for details on how to recycle
• Please leave the separated recycling on the deck when you check out.
• Guest who books must have all of their group read and agree to house rules
• Guests must notify us if they are bringing pet(s). Two pets or more guests must request approval to bring these additional pets before booking.
• Pet(s) are not permitted on furniture.
• Guests are responsible for pet(s)’s damages.
• Do not leave pet(s) unattended unless they are left in a kennel.
Fires / Fireworks
• Fires are only permitted at the designated fire pit located on the beach and inside the fireplace. Fires are not permitted elsewhere.
• Extinguish fires completely when not attended.
• Do not remove the ashes or burning wood from the fire pit and fireplace.
• No fires when winds exceed 10km/h.
• Outdoor fires in the fire pit at the beach must follow Tiny Township municipal bylaws posted adjacent to the entry door inside the cottage. Fireworks are not permitted eg roman candles magnesium sprinklers etc.
• Fires are only permitted as long as there is no fire ban in effect. It is the responsibility of the guest(s) to assure there is no fire ban in effect. Please visit www.tiny.ca to verify if there’s a fire ban in effect. The penalties for having a fire during a fire ban are serious.
Barbeque
• Gas barbeque operates by opening gas at the tank and turning the left burner on first. Then after ignition turn on another burner if necessary. Never ignite gas with the lid closed. Always light gas with the lid open. When finished with the barbeque turn all dials on the face of the barbeque clockwise. In addition, always turn off the valve on the gas tank clockwise snug.
• If the gas runs out, please exchange the cylinder and pour soapy water on the connection to ensure there are no leaks.
• Never use barbeque if there is a gas leak.
Check-in and Out
• Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Please check out on time.
• Please lock doors at check out and leave the key in the lockbox.
Beach
• Do not litter on the grounds (including cigarette butts). Please help keep our beach and grounds beautiful!
• Any garbage, cigarette butts, or mess left on the beach or grounds is subject to a cleaning fee.
Occupancy
• Maximum TEN PEOPLE at the property at ANY time. Day guest must be counted
• Bringing more guests than the stated upon number at the time of booking could result in the extra guest(s) being asked to leave or the entire booking canceled without refund.
Smoking
• Smoking or candles are not permitted inside the cottage. You may smoke on the waterside deck and at the fire pit.
• Please leave extinguished cigarette butts in steel can on the lawn or in the fire pit.
• Please do not dispose of cigarettes anywhere else on the property. It is a fire hazard and time-consuming to retrieve cigarette butts that have been discarded on the grounds.
Cleaning
• Please leave the cottage clean and the way you found it for the courtesy of the next guest(s). If the cottage requires cleaning to return it to the way you found it a cleaning fee will be applied.
Damages or Breakages
• Please report any damages and/or breakage right away through the website or email you booked with.
Noise
• Be respectful of neighbors.
• No amplified music outside. If you are talking outside please speak softly no yelling.
Other
• No ATVs, snowmobiles, powerboats, and unlicensed motorcycles are permitted on the property. No more than eight cars permitted.
• Only flush toilet paper as we have a septic system.
• Do not remove branches from trees. Do not drill, nail or screw into trees, or remove bark from trees.
• All windows must be left closed and latched while heat is on.
. No tents pop up trailers motor homes or any other type of dwelling are allowed.
No weapons firearms pellet rifles slingshots etc are permitted. Do not throw rocks or skipping stones in the lake. Do not send golf balls into the lake.
Nail polish remover is not allowed on our property as it will damage the flooring.
Booking guest must accurately outline how many Adults, Children two years and older, and how many pets will be attending cottage at anytime in the "reservation detail section".
Do not use exterior footwear (shoes sandals boots) inside cottage
Booking guest must copy all their co-guest/s house rules and have co-guests assurance they will follow all of the rules prior booking.
Government identification needs to be sent to this VRBO platform day of booking Passport or drivers license are acceptable government forms of identification.
