Summary: Landlord was very friendly, accommodating and easily contactable. Could not view before booking. Landlord let us have keys a day earlier to view, was much appreciated as family from abroad were coming to stay for a wedding. 1 bedroom had no door to the toilet (open view between toilet and bed) - a surprise to us, but we managed by shifting people around. Would have been nice to know beforehand or seen this illustrated in the photos. Sink got blocked on 4th day even though it was used appropriately. Landlord said he would come next day to look and that normally a £50 call out charge but he would do this for free. That was appreciated, but we had 8 people to 1 sink and sorted the issue ourselves. Living room and dining area was great to socialise in. Slight communication / timing issues: 1) Told to put used towels out for 10am for replacement, however due to delays not replaced until after 1pm, leaving everyone without towels in the morning, delaying plans for the day 2) Checkout listed as 12pm but landlord messaged on the day saying cleaners would arrive at 11am, causing bit of stress as everyone preparing to catch flights and say goodbyes. 3) He messaged at 7:30am asking to put all the recycling out for bin collection at 7am, but by the time we saw the message the bins had already been collected. Overall landlord was very pleasant and friendly and the house was very reasonably priced. Slight communication / timing issues caused a bit of stress but would definitely book again!
