Positive: Good communication from staff prior to arriving. They answered all my questions. Comfy beds and enough hot water for 8 people to shower!
Negative: Access - Parking is hidden away at the rear of the property down a narrow alley. We had directions but there was no signage to say parking was allowed in between the vans. Someone eventually came out to direct us which was great, but a couple of signs at the alley entrance and in the spaces would solve this. Security - the loft doesn't lock. We were unsure if people on the lower floors could access it while we were out. Having said that, we felt safe the whole time. Expectations - the photos give the impression this is a high quality 'stately home' style apartment. This is not the case. It is a rundown ex-hotel. A refurb has been completed and the accommodation is adequate and comfortable but I think it needs a more honest representation to avoid disappointment.
Summary: Okay for a short stay. Rough round the edges.
