Welcome to the Nordic Nest, a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom retreat in the heart of the Catskills. Set on a dreamy country road with dramatic views of the mountains and a spring fed swimming pond , 221 acres of peacefulness and serenity are all yours. Dreaming of a bucolic escape where you can enjoy time with family and friends? Here it is! The Nordic Nest is only 15 miles to Belleayre Ski Center and close to villages with shops and restaurants. A private setting with close access to endless fun.

Bathrooms: There is one full bathroom in the master bedroom that has a tub/shower combo. There is a second bathroom in the upstairs hallway with a washer, dryer, and free standing soaking tub. The shower is NOT currently connected in this bathroom. All bathrooms are upstairs.
Located between the popular vacation destinations of Margaretville and Andes, The Nordic Nest is 221 acres of solitude and enjoyment. With hiking trails, a swim pond, fire pit and cozy house, you will not want to leave the property.
Main Floor
Enter the home through the mudroom where you can comfortably keep shoes, coats and other outside gear. The spacious mudroom allows for the main living area to stay warm, even on the coldest of winter days. The open concept living space is divided into two sections with the stairway in between. On one side of the home, a spacious kitchen with dining area is the ultimate gathering spot. Plenty of storage space and fully stocked with everyone you may need for meal preparation and serving. Long countertops give ample space to prepare meals and also serve as a great buffet space. The dining table seats everyone comfortably and is perfect for all types of activities like games, work and art projects.
Windows line the walls of the main floor. A door in the kitchen leads to the side deck with BBQ area. Sliding doors in the living room lead to the front of the deck with lounge chairs and outdoor dining table. A wood burning fireplace highlights the living room area, creating the perfect ambience for a night of relaxing.
Second Floor
Up a short flight of stairs, the second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is on the left side with a few stairs to enter. It features a desk, closet and twin size daybed with pull out trundle. On the other side of the hall, the second bedroom has a queen bed and closet. A roomy bathroom with laundry area and incredible free-standing soaking tub make this a luxurious space. The primary bedroom overlooks the mountains and has a king bed, dresser and en suite with tub/shower combo.
Exterior
While the inside of the home is cozy and inviting, the outside is invigorating! Acres upon acres of privacy means no other sounds other than nature. At night, just the light of the moon and stars brighten the night sky. This historic farmstead has walking trails for all levels. Take a walk uphill for more views or stroll leisurely down the valley in search of the blueberry patch. A wrap around deck overlooks the view and the fire pit area just below the house. Spend summer days on the deck listening to the frogs at the pond, or bring a cup of hot cocoa outside on a chilly winter day. Just a short walk through the woods brings you to the swimming pond. Spring fed, it's the perfect temperature for warm weather dunks. The natural landscaping provides a place for a picnic or laying in the sun to dry off.

Check-In and Check-Out: Plan your travel on our listed 4PM arrival and 11AM departure times. Changes in times may be available for an additional fee if possible. Please give at least 24 hours notice for requests, last minute requests may not be possible as cleaning and service schedules are planned in advance.
- We have awesome neighbors; help keep us awesome neighbors too.
- No parties. Only the number of guests on the reservation should be in the house. Let Host know of daytime guests.
- No smoking. If you must smoke, do so outdoors only and extinguish when done then put in the garbage.
-Dogs are allowed with approval and additional fee.
- No ATV's, snowmobiles, fireworks or firearms.
- Quiet hours 9PM to 8AM, keep outdoor noise to a minimum.
