Positive: We recently stayed for 10 days at 2 pièces avec clim proche place Masséna and had a great experience in the flat! The location of the flat was excellent, right along a pedestrian walkway, and a very short distance to Fountaine du Soleil, the Prominade des Anglais, the beach, and all the shops and restaurants in Old Town, Nice. The flat is also within walking distance of Castle Hill, Garibaldi Square, and the Port, so you are right in the middle of everything! The flat was clean, and had all the bedding, linen, and kitchen equipment we needed. The sofa bed was already expanded and made before we entered the flat, and the bed in the one bedroom was made as well. The utilities, appliances and internet worked without a problem. The flat came equipped with a great air conditioning unit (in only the kitchen and dining area) and had plenty of storage. The owners were very responsive to questions we had and quickly told us how to reset the breaker when the power went out once. They also provided a booklet with lots of useful information about both the flat and the surrounding area. Overall, a great stay in a great flat! We absolutely recommend staying here and will stay here again when we return to Nice!
Negative: A couple of things to note, we had to pick up and drop off the keys at an office a few blocks away from the flat. The owners provided a very useful handout with pictures on how to access the keys which were easy to access, it’s just something to keep in mind as you need to make sure you get the key before heading to the flat. Also, the entrance to the flat is on a pedestrian walkway that is not accessible by car. The closest area for a car is behind the building that either requires you walk up a flight of stairs to get to the raised walkway or walk around the block, either way the closest Uber stop is about a block away.
