Garage with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with owner). Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue (charcoal not supplied). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 18 years old. . Youldon Farm Barn is an attractive two-bedroom, detached barn conversion, located between Holsworthy and Bude in Pancrasweek, just a 6-mile drive from the coast in the heart of the ‘Ruby Countryside’. Situated within the grounds of the owners working poultry farm, this lovely property is furnished with beautiful oak furniture and fittings and is fully equipped with everything that you might need during your stay.
The living room is spacious with three two-seater sofas, a Smart TV, a wood burner to curl up beside on a chilly evening and a double set of patio doors leading out into the garden. The property has it’s own private garden with a charcoal barbecue, a patio area with seating and a lawn, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee whilst you plan your day. The open plan kitchen and dining area has two ovens, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and slate flooring. In the centre of the property is a carpeted spiral staircase leading to the first floor which has landing area with a couple of comfy chairs and a kingsize double bedroom with a beautiful oak bed, dressing table, a built-in wardrobe and two bedside tables. The bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower attachment over the bath and a heated towel rail. Next door is a second kingsize double bedroom with an oak bed, freestanding wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside tables. Downstairs there is a shower room with a shower cubicle, hand rail, toilet and a heated towel rail.
This beautiful barn conversion is ideally situated for discovering all Devon has to offer. Just a 10-minute drive to the stunning surfing beach at Widemouth Bay and the popular seaside town of Bude. It’s the ideal place to shop, eat out and sample local produce with a great selection of pubs, cafés and restaurants. The pretty fishing villages of Padstow, Boscastle, Port Issac and Rock are well worth a visit, and mystical Tintagel with the legendary King Arthur’s castle is nearby. The wild beauty of Bodmin and Dartmoor National Park are a must for walkers and nature lovers alike and they are both just a 30 to 40-minute drive away. The RHS Gardens at Rosemoor are a delight and there are numerous National Trust properties to visit including Castle Drogo. Plus the property is only a 25-minute drive to Bideford where you can book a boat trip to Lundy Island from the quay and the Eden Project is just one hour away. Beach 6 miles.
