The house is located at the top of St Ives in an area called Consols. It is just a 20 minute walk to the busy town of St Ives yet retains a peaceful aura for a calm and happy holiday. Rosewall Hill and the South West coastal path are on your doorstep and so it makes it a particularly versatile holiday home. Open the patio doors to your own private garden that has the sunshine from mid-morning to sunset during the balmy summer months.
There are 3 bedrooms; a super king size bedroom with its own ensuite, a king size bedroom with its own ensuite and a twin bedroom plus there is a family bathroom with bath/ shower over. You also have a ground floor cloakroom so with 4 WCs in the house, no-one will need to wait! The views from the top floor bedrooms are out onto Rosewall Hill and over the garden. All bedrooms have hanging for your holiday wardrobe and one of the bedrooms has its own Smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for a family of 6 and the house is toasty warm with underfloor heating throughout.
Being in the the peaceful area of St Ives, you will be within minutes of nature and the tranquility of some stupendous walks yet you are also a short walk from the great white sand beaches, the organised boat trips, the amazing food places and a great choice of shops and galleries of the town. Leave the front door of 18 The Carracks and step into the joyful life of St Ives ideal for friends and families who like to have everything on their doorstep. If you don't want to walk into the town, there is a bus stop just 100m from the house that will take you to the heart of the town and would take a matter of minutes to arrive. You may prefer a taxi, there are many that run regular trips to either eateries or pubs, so just call ahead and they will drop you into the town in a matter of moments.
There are 2 private parking spaces directly outside the house.
There is free WiFi throughout the house and excellent 4G reception (please check your provider for specific coverage).
One well-behaved small to medium size dog is welcome (terms and conditions apply with a £50 per pet per week fee).
All bed linen, bath towels and utilities are included in the rate. There is a travel cot, high chair, bed bumpers and pram at the property so please request on booking (all you need to do is bring your own bedding for it). Beach towels are not included.
