The location on the edge of the beautiful Peak District is perfect with Alton Towers resort just 15 mins away. The fantastic new Polar Bear enclosure at Peak Wildlife Park just 5 mins. Country cafe 5 mins. and Bakewell and Chatsworth House just 30 mins. Also close by is Dovedale Stepping Stones, Manifold valley Thorpe Cloud Thor's cave Churnet Valley Steam Railway.
Farriers Barn is a newly converted historic 17th century former stable.

The living and dining area boasts leather sofa oak furniture combined with modern lighting flat screen tv and unlimited wifi throughout the property.

Summary: The property is small but perfect for a couple and equipped with almost anything you could think of. Through this spell of hot weather we've been sitting with the stable door open looking Whiston, Froghall and the Churnet Valley. It's in a small development surrounded by other properties with very friendly and welcoming residents. There are lots of walks from the doorstep which is great for active people or those with a dog. The owner is very accommodating and always ready to help.
